Celebrate Halloween with George Romero's Night of the Living Dead

Channel-B.TV
celebrates this Halloween with a viewing of George Romero's classic, Night of the Living Dead. An Apocalyptic horror movie about a world overrun by zombies which spawned a franchise, and provided the foundation for a sub-genre which thrives even today.

Romero's 1968 film was originally peddled out of the trunk of his car, Night of the Living Dead has since gone on to become one of the most successful independent films ever made. Unfortunately, he saw little profit from it thanks to his ignorance of distribution rights and bad business dealings. Night of the Living Dead has since fallen into the Public Domain in America, and has been screened at such prestigious outlets as the Museum of Modern Art.

In 1968, Roger Ebert reviewed Night of the Living Dead for Reader's Digest..
